Forest Oath

Arthur's Son

I am no wit, and I say this not in jest,
But I hear King Arthur has a son by incest.

Birthed by Morgause, they call him Mordred,
A boy born of sin, prefer more joy instead,
For this bastard boy is omen of downfall,
Blood will run red within King's own crown hall.

And I am no wit,
Nor am I any wiser,
From Sir Dagonet to Merlin,
The king's own adviser,
But I have seen the child,
With army of a kaiser,
He'll come by morning,
For he's an early riser.

By now you have heard and thus you've been warned,
Of the kings own sin, in no guise devil horned,
Go ye knights to bed, and thine head thou shall rest,
For the King and his sister had a son by incest.
